Someone stole the flashing stop sign on Parkway Calabasas at the northbound approach to the Park Entrada intersection in Calabasas, officials said.

The city paid $3,000 to install the sign last summer and is offering a $1,000 reward to anyone who has information about the theft.

The theft could bring felony charges because of the importance of the signal.

John Caffrey at (818) 878-5556. $300 from an unlocked vehicle parked in the Countrywide parking lot in the 31303 Agoura Road. The incident occurred on Dec. 8 while the victim reportedly was at work.
