Chorale to host open auditions

The Village Voices Chorale will host open auditions beginning Sun., Jan. 15 for its spring concert. Interested men and women singers from throughout Ventura County and the San Fernando Valley should call (805) 495-2701 for additional information and an audition appointment. Choral singing experience and good sight-reading skills are a plus.

The Chorale’s spring concert will be June 2 and 3 in the Scherr Forum Theatre at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza. Directed by Gloria Hilliard and accompanied by Christine DeKlotz, the Chorale offers “an entertaining blend” of choral music from classical to Broadway.
