Law enforcement, firefighters to be honored

The Thousand Oaks Elks Lodge will host the 29th annual Law Enforcement and Firefighter Appreciation program at 6 p.m. Wed., Jan. 25. The public is cordially invited to attend.

A dinner of barbecued baby back ribs and chicken will be served at 7 p.m. Awards will be presented around 8 p.m.

The Thousand Oaks Elks Lodge includes Agoura Hills, Oak Park, Westlake, Hidden Valley and Newbury Park. This area is served by the California Highway Patrol, the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department and the L.A. County Sheriff ’s Department. The lodge, the mayor of Thousand Oaks and the Ventura County supervisors will honor the outstanding law enforcement officers and firefighters from each law enforcement agency.
