Garden guru

Garn Wallace, who tests the fertility and toxicity of soil, water and plants for local and international governments and corporations, will show how to create a thriving, healthy landscape during a “Grow a Better Garden: Soil, Plants and Water” presentation from 1 to 2 p.m. on Wed., Jan. 11 at the Calabasas campus of Soka University on Mulholland Highway.
