Four executives join Wellness Community board

Four local executive leaders have joined The Wellness Community Valley/Ventura board of directors. They are Thomas Cromwell, Dole Food Company vice president and chief information officer; Joe DiDonato, Countrywide Financial Corporation executive vice president and chief technology learning officer; Scott P. Hansen, Bank of America Private Bank vice president and private client advisor; and Brian T. Layfield, Cardservice International chief financial officer.

“It is an honor to have such prestigious community members helping to lead our organization,” said Suzanne Drace, president of The Wellness Community Valley/ Ventura. “We are confident that they will add valuable support in helping us spread our message of hope to families fighting cancer.”

Cromwell is responsible for global information technology leadership of the world’s largest fresh and processed produce company with operations in 90 countries. Cromwell holds a master’s in business administration from Texas A&M University.

DiDonato oversees the training of all information technology personnel in the Countrywide family of businesses. DiDonato holds a bachelor’s in business from the University of Massachusetts.

Hansen leads a team of individuals who serve Bank of America Private Bank’s high networth clients, providing advice on wealth creation, preservation and transfer. Hansen is an adjunct professor in the graduate school of business at California Lutheran University, teaching financial planning courses.

Layfield has more than 20 years of senior financial experience, including 13 years as chief financial officer of both publiclyand privately-held companies and six years in public accounting. Layfield is a certified public accountant and holds a bachelor’s in accounting and a master’s in business administration from Cal State Northridge.

The Wellness Community Valley/Ventura is the local chapter of the international, nonprofit organization dedicated to providing free support, education and hope to people affected by cancer.
