Auto Spa supplies food, gas, detailing

The Calabasas Auto Spa has opened its doors nearly one year after receiving permission from the city of Calabasas to add improvements. Originally a smaller gas station, the site now boasts a full service, 100 percent hand car wash and detail center.

The owners guarantee that both tanks and tummies can be filled by offering 76 branded gasoline and hot and cold deli sandwiches baked fresh daily by Sargo’s Subs and Deli.

Patrons will also be able to take advantage of a Seattle’s Best Coffee bar and a Surf City Squeeze smoothie stand on the premises.

Twenty-four-hour music provides a relaxing environment for those who are pumping or shopping, while granite counter tops and custom made gondolas create an aesthetically pleasing atmosphere.

“We really want to make sure the people enjoy their experience while at the center,” said Bob Amirian, owner of the establishment.

Calabasas Auto Spa utilizes a unique car washing system in which the cars pass through a washing tunnel under the building. Customers are welcome to watch the progress of their wash on flat screen televisions inside the market.

The Calabasas Auto Spa is at 24115 Calabasas Rd., Calabasas.

The Amirian family has been operating as a father-son team in that location for nearly 20 years.
