Agoura High alumna gets her big break
Adrianna Heber, a 24-year-old Agoura Hills native, recently achieved her dream of working as a national entertainment reporter. Under the moniker Adrianna Costa, Heber was hired as the new entertainment correspondent for “Robin & Company” on CNN Headline News.
A member of the Agoura High School class of 1999, Heber majored in broadcast journalism and minored in film studies at the University of Colorado Boulder.
With a strong love for all that is glitz and glam, Heber focused on entertainment reporting after receiving her bachelor’s in 2003.
Heber, a self-proclaimed workaholic, began her career as a local entertainment reporter for CBS affiliate Channel 2 in Palm Springs and quickly garnered national attention after doing specials for E!, MSNBC and Fox 11 news.
Her tireless work and quick wit in the entertainment field landed her many red carpet, behind the scenes, and feature reporting opportunities.
“I’m very proud of my daughter and I’m definitely her number one fan,” said Anita Heber, Adrianna’s mother.
Anita has helped her daughter to build a strong local fan base by sending e-mails to friends and colleagues notifying them about Adrianna’s upcoming television appearances.
While Adrianna has already accomplished much at a young age, she continues to grow professionally and hopes to one day host her own television talk show.
Adrianna started working at CNN Headline News in October and can be seen weekday mornings at 9 a.m. PST on “Robin & Company.”
