Coaches bid farewell
     The Oak Park girls soccer team wishes to thank the entire community for all of the tremendous love and support that they have shown us these last two weeks. We are truly humbled by the extraordinary outpouring of calls, letters and e-mails.

     Brenda Pasqua is a woman of honor. I met Brenda when she was a child at a local karate studio. We studied the martial arts together for many years. Even though she was only half my age, Brenda was one of my teachers and role models in the martial arts. I was fortunate to be taught by her.

     Perhaps the most beautiful panorama in all of Oak Park looks out at the Palo Camado Canyon area of the National Recreational Area, viewed from the trail originating on Doubletree. This view is a treasure to hikers and bikers and all of us who live in Oak Park.
