Nonprofit groups welcom

Although the grant money cannot be used for religious programs or activities, community organizations affiliated with a religious group can still apply for a grant.

Proposals received will be evaluated by a review committee, and grants will be awarded by the city council on a competitive basis.

Applications, which must be submitted by 5 p.m. Thurs., Feb. 24, are available at Westlake Village City Hall, 31200 Oak Crest Drive in Westlake Village.
