ChristmaShoppe provides lost-cost holiday purchasefor the needy

SANTA’S HELPERS—At top, Eleanor Whitaker, helped by Tim Rothwell, buys toys for her four children at the second annual Community Christmas Shoppe at Hillcrest Christian School in Thousand Oaks. More than 50 churches, schools, businesses and families held drives to supply the Shoppe with toys to be sold for less than $5 each to qualifying families. Below, brothers Dave and Mark Tattersall are all smiles to see Santa’s sleigh at the Tattersall’s Oak Park home filled with donations.
