Busted at The Promenade

JANN HENDRY/Acorn Newspapers CAUGHT AND CUFFED—Thousand Oaks Sheriff’s deputies, along with a Sheriff’s canine and helicopter, apprehend suspected shoplifter Margarito Galvan after he was caught stealing CD players from the Rite Aid drugstore on Thousand Oaks Boulevard last Friday. While at the store, Galvan brandished a knife, scuffled with the store manager and managed to escape. The manager and another employee chased Galvan across Westlake Boulevard and into The Promenade where he was found hiding in some bushes. Nobody was injured.
