Auditions for children, adults

The Calabasas Anza Heritage Association will host open auditions for child and adult actors and musicians for its 21st annual “Anza en Calabazas” historical presentation and festivities, commemorating the 1776 Anza expeditions, from 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Sat., Jan. 14 at the Calabasas campus of Soka University of America, 26800 W. Mulholland Hwy.

Novice and veteran actors and entertainers are invited to audition for unpaid roles as Spanish dancers, musicians, and colonists.

The 2006 Anza en Calabazas Festival will be presented from 2 to 4 p.m. Sun., Feb. 26 on the Soka campus in Calabasas. Rain will not cancel the event. Admission is free.
