Incident not funny

Due to the importance of our latest city council election and how it affected our local community, we all failed to see the humor of campaign signs being stolen off our neighbors’ properties to play a practical joke.

With all of Jane Contis’ redeeming qualities and positions of responsibility, I am surprised at her lack of judgment. In addition, there was no call for Mr. Contis’ sarcastic attack in the Nov. 17 Acorn on our friend and neighbor, Sharon Robinson, who happened to see and deter the sign stealing act. This was a distasteful and childish attempt to defend his wife’s illegal antics.

I applaud and support Sharon’s action on behalf of our community. Ricki Clark Agoura Hills
