Attack was not justifie

While I respect David J. Contis’s need to support his wife, I cannot let his full-page advertisement in the Nov. 17 issue of The Acorn, in which he attacks both your reporter, Stephanie Bertholdo, and Agoura resident Sharon Robinson, pass without a response.

His wife, using his own words, was caught in the act of playing “a silly prank,” albeit an illegal one. It was probably done on the spur of the moment. David Contis, on the other hand, had time to think out his actions before he placed a paid advertisement in The Acorn.

I fail to see how a personal, vitriolic attack against others can in any way be justified. I would like to see him pay for another full-page advertisement to retract his offensive remarks. Penny Sylvester Agoura Hills
