Self-hypnosis, visualization can be used to control weight

The city of Agoura Hills announces certified hypno-therapist John Hodak will teach a new session of “Mental Management Training for Weight Control” from 7:45 to 8:45 p.m. Thursdays, Dec. 1 through 15, at the Agoura Hills Recreation Center. The cost is $25 plus a $15 materials fee.

Participants will learn to take control of unhealthy habits and turn them into positive lifestyle changes using techniques including self-hypnosis, stress management and visualization.
