Kids design bookmarks

Several children won the annual County of Los Angeles Public Library Children’s Book Week Bookmark Contest held by the Agoura Hills Library to celebrate Children’s Book Week.

Simone Liao, a second grader at Willow Elementary School, Agoura Hills; Arielle Dubowe, a fifth grader at Yerba Buena Elementary School, Agoura Hills; and Chloe Myaskovsky, a seventh grader at Alice C. Stelle Middle School, Calabasas.

Honorable mentions went to the following students:

Jessica Kimmel, Westlake Elementary School, Westlake Village; Madison Penta, Avery Rose Mandel, Micaleen Rodgers, David Pavone, and Ryan Rosenheim from Sumac Elementary School, Agoura Hills; Ashley Shahbazi, Yerba Buena Elementary School; and Kala Randazza and Jack Goldman, A.E. Wright Middle School, Calabasas.
