Emmanuel Pres Church to host alternative Christmas market

Emmanuel Presbyterian Church will host a Christmas Mission Market from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sat., Nov. 19 at the church, 588 Camino Manzanas in Thousand Oaks.

The market will be selling food and baked goods as well as handcrafted goods suitable for holiday gifts, made by indigenous rural people of China, Afghanistan, Africa and Ukraine. The church’s youth will provide a car wash to help finance their missionary trip to Mexico.

Mission organizations at the market will have booths with information about the services they provide both locally and internationally.

Proceeds from the market will be used for mission activities.
