Maria’s Kitchen one of Valley’s fastest growing companies

Maria’s Italian Kitchen, an Italian restaurant franchise with 10 locations including Agoura Hills, has been recognized by the San Fernando Valley Business Journal as one of the 50 fastestgrowing private companies in the region. The list was based on a percentage of revenue growth between 2003 and 2004.

The company is also celebrating its 30th anniversary. Owner Madelyn Alfano oversees 10 restaurants and more than 500 employees in the family-owned business. She was elected to serve this year on the board of directors of the California Restaurant Association, a nonprofit restaurant trade association.
