Agoura Hills resident wins Fulbright scholarship

Kari Filerman of Agoura Hills, a student in the Pepperdine Graziadio School of Business and Management, has been awarded a Fulbright scholarship to work in Mexico on U.S. acquisitions to gain a higher share in the Hispanic banking market. She was selected for leadership potential in business management and academic achievement.

The Fulbright Program, America’s flagship international educational exchange program, is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs.
