Support Given for Breast Cancer Awareness

During the summer the Westlake Promenade agents began collecting used cellphones from family, friends and the community, which were sent to a company that recycles and refurbishes them. They are then sold to or given to needy recipients; others are broken down and their components recycled. The company makes a contribution of $1 to $15 per phone to the charity of choice.

This year the Westlake Promenade agents chose to donate the funds to breast cancer awareness and made their contribution through one of their own agents, Carol Lee, who participated in the 39-mile Avon Walk for Breast Cancer.

The Coldwell Banker Westlake Promenade office proudly supports breast cancer awareness and research and many other charities each year. Their cellphone collection will be ongoing and the contributions will go to support different charities throughout the coming year. If you have a cellphone that you
