Water tank conundrum

While the replacement of the Conifer water tank has been an issue for some time, I cannot stress enough the need to be realistic with respect to the new tank’s location, especially in conjunction with the locations of existing tanks.

And while the tactics of the Triunfo Sanitation District may not have been perfect, the original site selection above Doubletree Road and Sunnycrest Drive is still the most logical place for the new tank. Several of the potential other sites are either too close to existing homes and/or close to other tanks.

Triunfo must reexamine the possible sites for the Conifer water tank replacement and ensure the safety of its ratepayers by not locating any new tanks close to residential properties. David R. Flamer
