Babysitting training for youth offered

The city of Agoura Hills Department of Community Services will offer a babysitter’s training course open to youth aged 11 to 15, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Sat., Nov. 19 at Agoura Hills City Hall.

Topics will include: the business of babysitting, family interviews, professional behavior, problem solving, telephone safety, age appropriate game/toy selection, household safety, baby basics, first aid and CPR skills.

The fee is $38 plus a $20 materials fee payable to the instructor. To register, call the Agoura Hills Rec Center at (818) 5977361 or stop at 30610 Thousand Oaks Blvd.
