Peikoff, VP of licensing

Michael Peikoff Michael Peikoff 20th Century-Fox Television has named licensing executive Michael Peikoff vice president, licensing. Peikoff, an Agoura Hills resident, will serve as a key member of the division’s leadership team, overseeing the company’s U.S. licensing business with specific oversight of the category management team, its long list of domestic licensees, and retail initiatives.

Peikoff most recently was president and founder of Peil Performance, a strategic consulting and marketing firm he founded with a number of top licensing and entertainment clients. He also worked at Sony Pictures Consumer Products, where he managed marketing and publicity initiatives for worldwide film, television and animation licensing and merchandising properties, including “Spider-Man” and “Stuart Little.”

From 1992 to 2000 Peikoff held key executive posts at Warner Bros. Consumer Products, implementing licensing and publicity for top theatrical properties including the “Batman” franchise and “Space Jam.”

Peikoff was a member of the original marketing team that helped launch Fox Broadcasting with hits including “The Simpsons,” “21 Jump Street” and “Married With Children.”
