Holiday purchase helps worthy cause

Haven Home Furnishings, a store in Thousand Oaks, is collaborating with artist Sean Fox on a custom-designed holiday ornaments for this season, with proceeds benefiting the local chapter of the MakeA-Wish Foundation.The collector’s edition ornament will sell for $30; $15 will go to Make-A-Wish. The store will offer these ornaments in limited supply along with other gift accessories at its inaugural Holiday Open House on Sat., Nov. 12. The ornament comes beautifully wrapped and features information about the artist and the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

The Holiday Open House will kick-off the sale of these ornaments. Saturday’s event will also feature a Vietri trunk show and holiday floral arrangement demonstration. Haven’s selection of home gifts including frames, bath products, candles, trays and pillows, will be 15 percent off for this day only.
