Two challengers deserve your vote

I want to inform the community of an excellent candidate for LVUSD School Board, Joann Melancon.

I feel Joann has the knowledge and understanding of our schools and community. She sees the big picture and has ideas that support the best climate for learning.

I feel Joann will be an advocate for us, the voters, and will represent the community at large with the best interests at heart.

I have had the opportunity to work closely with her on many projects and with more than 15 years volunteer experience of my own in the district, I am confident with this recommendation. Robin Applefield Calabasas

I am pleased to endorse Dave Moorman for the Las Virgenes Unified School District Board of Education.

I came to know Dave during the Measure E campaign during which time he impressed me with his energy, his ease at working with people, and his passionate commitment to stabilizing the financial health of the district.

Dave’s experience on the Las Virgenes Educational Foundation makes him uniquely qualified to serve at this time of limited fund

I’m supporting Joann Melancon for LVUSD Board of Education.

I was at the candidates’ forum on Oct. 26 and I was very iming for our schools. Dave is a leader who brings fresh ideas and a parent’s concern to the table. His gentle and warm manner will also make him a positive presence on this important body.

Please vote for Dave Moorman on Nov. 8. Rabbi Len Muroff Agoura Hills pressed with Joann. I liked how she spoke from her heart. I like that when she disagrees with the status quo, she says so. She doesn’t accept answers like “it won’t work,” “it can’t be changed,” or “we can’t afford it.” That’s refreshing. She had ideas about finding solutions to education problems that aren’t tied to the almighty dollar.

With her three sons, Joann has dealt with every aspect of education. In her many volunteer roles, she works with teachers, administrators and parents. She has dedication and commitment to get the job done. Jodi Regan Agoura Hills
