No fan of Harry Schwarz

It’s a shame that candidate Harry Schwarz is reapeating the same tired and untrue rhetoric about Heschel West.

Schwarz’s concern about a dual light intersection for the school is wrong. The the option has largely been replaced by two others, including a roundabout and a mid-block access. Even the traffic consultant hired by the CIty of Agoura Hills has testified that the roundabout is a viable option.

Either Harry was not aware of this, which is surprising since he is on the Agoura Hills Planning Commission, or he chose to repeat comments that were out-of-date and inflammatory.

This school has been approved by the Regional Planning Commission and will be built. Now is the time for our leaders to bring the two sides together and our community should not longer tolerate politicians who make irresponsible remarks on politically charged issues.

I for one don’t want Harry Schwarz on the city council. Tom Block Agoura Hills
