Candidate speaks

I have spent much of my time during the past couple of months walking through Agoura Hills speaking to thousands of residents. Repeatedly, residents have voiced dissatisfaction with the current condition of our city. The questions that keep coming up are, “Why don’t we have a destination center of our own?”

“Why, when Calabasas and Westlake give millions to LVUSD for their schools, does Agoura Hills give nothing? Doesn’t the city council understand our property values are tied to those schools?”

“Why has it taken so long to fix the Kanan interchange and why would they approve apartments next to this interchange, exacerbating the problem, before fixing the interchange?”

“Why do we harass our businesses so much? Doesn’t the city council understand that they bring money in to support our infrastructure and schools?”

During the next four years, I will seek to crystallize my vision of Agoura Hills and work tirelessly to implement it. I thank you for your support and ask for your vote on Nov. 8 Todd August Agoura Hills
