Election day blood drive scheduled in Calabasas

Calabasas High School will conduct a blood drive on Election Day, Tues., Nov. 8, from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the school’s theater.

All participants will be treated to a “Buy one Cold Stone creation, get one free” coupon, said Brian Wade, the Las Virgenes Unified School District Board of Education student representative for Calabasas High School.

In addition, participants will have the opportunity to win a $300 American Express gift card.

Blood donors must be 17 years old and weigh a minimum of 110 pounds. Students must bring a photo ID to participate.
