Middle East expert to speak

Jerusalem-based journalist and author David P. Dolan will be speaking at the Agoura Hills Beth Emunah Messianic Synagogue on Sat., Oct. 29 at 11 a.m. concerning strife in the Middle East.

Dolan has lived in Israel since 1980 and was news director for a radio station in war-torn southern Lebanon in 1982. In 1984 he reported from Jerusalem for the IMSnews network and later for Middle East Television.

Soon after the first Palestinian uprising in 1988, he became a reporter for the CBS radio network. He has covered the massive immigration of Soviet Jews to Israel, the 1991 Gulf War and the Palestinian attrition war that began in September 2000. Dolan writes radio and television in Jerusalem.
