Agoura High students to show their comedy chops

Agoura High School’s Comedy-Sportz team opens its 200506 season with two performances this Sat., Oct. 22 at the school, 28545 Driver Ave., Agoura Hills. The junior varsity team will take the stage at 6 p.m., followed by the varsity team at 7 p.m.

ComedySportz is an audienceinteractive improvisational entertainment in the style of “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” Professional “refs” from ComedySportz LA in Hollywood will emcee the program, which is family-friendly and features refreshments available for purchase, including pizza, sandwiches and baked goods.

The AHS team practices weekly and stages games twice per month all year. Many players attend ComedySportz summer camp and all student-participants attend workshops, both taught by professional comedians from ComedySportz.
