Solving Scrabble

In response to Erik Haberstroh’s letter regarding the dog, Scrabble, and LIFE Animal Rescue in the Oct. 13 Acorn, we have received two of our three dogs from the rescue group that operates out of Agoura Hills and Petsmart on Saturdays, and there may be a very good reason why

he couple was not able to take Scrabble on that day.

The family that runs LIFE Animal Rescue and their group of volunteers have dedicated their homes, their money, and many many hours of time for over 10 years to homeless animals and have placed hundreds into caring environments.

For Mr. Haberstroh to suggest that this organization has “poor management” because of one failed adoption after hundreds of successful adoptions and over a decade of service would be just plain silly, if it wasn’t so cruel to the dedicated workers of this organization. Gini Brittenham Oak Park
