Development spells trouble for Calabasas

Talk about deception. The Malibu Valley Inn paid for a flyer that asks for a positive vote on their development. That flyer fails to mention the 200-plus rooms and convention center facilities— ballroom, conference rooms, etc.—it will build and that Los Angeles County would not approve it because it exceeds the allowable development as outlined in the North Area Plan.

The Malibu Valley Inn is trying to confuse voters with this flyer. There is another measure on the ballot having to do with open space, yet that’s what their flyer misleadingly focuses on with not one word about what they will build.

Calabasas citizens, don’t be fooled. Vote no on Measure C. Susan R. Ellis Calabasas
