Concerned about ocal education

I am a parent who lives in Agoura Hills with children in the public schools. I love this city and the people that live here, but I am concerned about sustaining a quality education for the children in this area.

I look at our closest neighbors, Westlake Village and Calabasas, and see the growth that they encourage in the form of business and commercial retail. The tax money from these businesses goes directly into city coffers andin large part, into the schools.

I want my local schools to benefit from all the opportunities and experiences that their peers are getting in other cities. We as a community need to address this issue by electing new leaders that will do what is within their power to help our public schools meet and surpass the challenges that they currently face.
