First Soka, now this

The fact that developer Brian Boudreau has said that he is so fed up, or words to that effect, that he might just as well proceed to develop his 81 tract homes in lieu of a “magnificent” Malibu Valley Inn and Spa is an affront to the intelligence of the community.

In the first place, such comments are outright intimidation to the Las Virgenes community, which fought long and hard to preserve the lands of Soka University and Ahmanson against massive development.

Secondly, talk about false and misleading, Boudreau does not have Coastal Development permits for all of the 81 homes.

Lastly, his suggestion that such a development is an “equestrian resort” is an outright lie, unless one considers hitching posts, watering troughs, and granite paths that would be sacrificed for overflow parking during “special events.”
