Museum to host reptile, raptor program

Reptiles and raptors from the Ojai Raptor Center will be introduced to children and their parents by the center’s specialists during the “Museum Gone Wild: Reptiles to Raptors” program from noon to 3:30 p.m. Sat., Oct. 8 at the Ventura County Museum of History & Art, 100 E. Main St., Ventura. The program and accompanying activities are free with paid museum admission.

The event will feature animalthemed crafts, story-telling and face painting. The live animals and their handlers will be in attendance from 1 to 2:30 p.m. For information call (805) 653-0323.
