Calabasas folk are grateful

We are certain that we speak for all the homeowners and renters in Calabasas as we extend our heartfelt gratitude for the wonderful firefighters who came to the rescue from local and distant fire departments.

The firemen and women were vigilant, professional, ready and standing guard on our street, Ruthwood Drive, with patrols of other commanders constantly driving and flying by to check on the status of the fire as it moved with the changing winds.

When they told us it was time to leave, they stayed with our homes, fighting the battle with precision air support and their strength, knowledge and courage.
