Hospital to host cancer lecture

Los Robles Hospital & Medical Center, through its H2U program, will present a special free seminar “How to Overcome the Fear of Cancer and Illness” from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tues., Oct. 11 at the Goebel Senior Adult Center, 1385 E. Janss Road, Thousand Oaks. Guest speaker will be Larry Lachman, PhD, a licensed clinical psychologist affiliated with Inner Dimensions Group in Monterey. An 8-year cancer survivor, Lachman is the co-author of the book “Parallel Journeys” and the former host of the television show “Living Options.”
