Acting workshop opens soon

Teens ages 15 and up are invited to attend a theatrical workshop, “Acting For The Musical” which will focus on performance for musical theater and offer participants the chance to work with an accomplished Broadway actor.

Classes will meet 5 to 8 p.m. Sundays, beginning Oct. 16 at the California Dance Theatre in Agoura Hills and ending Nov. 20 with a presentation for family and friends.

Tuition for the workshop is $300 per person. Registration deadline is Mon., Oct. 10.

The instructor is Conejo Valley native Tom Stuart, who has performed on stage with Tony award-winners Kristin Chenoweth and Sutton Foster and worked under top directors such as Susan Strohman of “The Producers.”
