Horse lovers can make their pets famous
The channel is producing a new show that will feature audience members and their horses. According to Chris Stafford, vice president of production and the channel’s news director, they want equestrians’ funniest moments, most embarrassing moments, bravest moments and the most unusual moments between people and their horses. Stafford said the channel is also looking for original story ideas and invites inquiries by calling (818) 598-1000. Please e-mail any questions and comments to clips@horsetv.com (do not send clips via e-mail). The public may submit material to HorseTV in any format (examples: VHS, DVD, mini-DVD, Beta SP or MPEG 2 files) as long as the quality is good enough for broadcast. The story should be no more than two to three minutes long. A written description of the story (no more than one paragraph) must be submitted with each tape. Tapes should be sent to The HorseTV Channel, P.O. Box 2820, Agoura, CA 91301. A release form that gives the channel permission to use the tape is available by mail or fax or may be downloaded off the website at www.horsetv.com and must be completed, signed and returned to the station if the tape is chosen for broadcast. Stafford asked submitters to identify who is on the tape and to make sure permission has been granted by other parties to be televised. Tapes will be considered for airing on merit. Tapes must be labeled with submitter’s name, address, telephone number and email address. |
