Christian Church of the Hills to add new service

Christian Church of the Hills is expanding its worship services to offer both a traditional service and one designed with young adults in mind.

Pastor Rex Wolins said the traditional service will be at 9 a.m. with the new “in conteXt” service starting at 10:30 a.m. A Bible study will also be offered at 10:30 a.m.

“The new service will differ from the traditional by using a less formal format,” Wolins said. “We will employ the visual arts, video, drama and congregational participation in the biblically-based teaching, along with a team teaching concept where more than one pastor shares in the teaching. The service will be child-friendly.

“Worship bands from around the area with a passion to worship God in a relevant style for this generation will perform.”
