Guild to sponsor local artist’s work and demonstration

Robert Burridge, an industrial designer who left the corporate world to become a full-time con

emporary painter, will be the guest artist at the Tues., Oct. 4 meeting of the Westlake Village Art Guild at the Los Robles Greens Golf Course Banquet Center, 299 S. Moorpark Road, Thousand Oaks.

Registration is 6 p.m. The dinner meeting starts at 6:30 p.m. fol

owed by the art demonstration at 7:30 p.m.

Burridge’s work is featured in many books, magazines and on Starbucks coffee mugs and Pearl Vodka bottles. Guests will learn the 12 basic design principles for creating award-winning paintings
