Rev. Spitzer to speak at breakfast

The Magis Institute, a nonprofit Catholic organization based in Irvine, will sponsor the Southern California Catholic Prayer Breakfast on Tues., Sept. 27 at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels, 555 W. Temple St., Los Angeles.

The event features a 6:30 a.m. rosary, 7 a.m. celebration of Holy Mass, and 7:45 a.m. breakfast and program with The Rev. Robert J. Spitzer, SJ delivering the keynote address. Spitzer is a Jesuit priest and president of Gonzaga University and was director of the Institute of Professional Ethics at Seattle University

The Magis Institute hosts retreats and conferences designed to highlight the role of faith, spirituality and ethics in transforming the modern business culture.
