Friendship Fair coming to Agoura Hills

The Friendship Circle will hold its kickoff event for all children with special needs and their families at the third annual Friendship Fair from 1 to 3 p.m. Sun., Sept. 25 at the Conejo Jewish Academy, 30345 Canwood St., Agoura Hills.

The fair will include pony rides, petting zoo, arts and crafts projects, moon bounce, sing-along and pizza, all free.

The circle has a registration of more than 100 children with special needs. The group provides these children with programs, one-on-one attention from a volunteer and weekly visits from teenage volunteers to offer a respite to the families.

“The Friendship Circle has been successful beyond our expectations ... the children gained their special friend and the teenagers mature and learn responsibility and character building through their service,” said Rabbi Yisroel Levine, program director.
