Stroller Strikes to collect funds

Stroller Strikes will celebrate its one-year anniversary and will raise funds for Hurricane Katrina victims at the anniversary class and celebration from 9:15 to 11:15 a.m. tomorrow, Sept. 23 at the Oak Canyon Community Park, 5600 Hollytree Drive, Oak Park. Participants will meet near the playground and large picnic pavilion.

The morning will include a one-hour stroller fitness class for parents and their babies, followed by a raffle benefiting the Conejo Valley Manna Food Band, as well as refreshments and baby/toddler activities.

A donation of $10 is suggested, with checks made payable to the American Red Cross for hurricane relief.

One raffle ticket will be given for each can of non-perishable food items brought for the food bank. Prizes will include a personal meal prepared by a professional chef and a free photo session with a child photographer.
