Local toddler is Infant Beach Boy

Colleen, Turner and Christian Hayes Turner Charles Hayes, the 14month-old son of Colleen and Christian Hayes of Westlake Village, is this year’s Infant Beach Boy. Turner participated in Hawaiian Tropic’s Little Miss and Mister West Coast Finals pageant on Sept. 5 in Anaheim.

Turner had previously won second runner-up in a preliminary pageant in June, but this time he finished first. His mother is a former third-grade teacher at Westlake Elementary School and his father is a commercial real estate broker and business owner.

Turner competed in the swim wear division with 93 other boys from infant to 18 months. They were judged on looks and personality. Hawaiian Tropic sells sunscreen products.

Turner now qualifies for international competition next July in Canada.
