Agoura Hills

Jewelry valued at $2,051 was stolen from a home on Garden Oaks Court between June 30 and July 14. There was no evidence of forced entry and the victim suspects workers who were remodeling the house.

Vandals threw a large rock through the kitchen window of a home on Passageway Place. Damages to the window and the shutters were estimated at $1,500.

Someone stole a purse, containing checks, cell phone and wallet, all valued at $450, from an unlocked vehicle parked in a driveway on North United Road. The incident occurred between Aug. 15 and 16.

Thieves broke into a car parked at Richard’s Tireman on Dorothy Drive to steal stereo equipment valued at $600. The incident occurred between Aug 7 and 8.

Vandals caused $600 in damages to a home being remodeled on Lake Lindero Road between Aug. 2 and 8.

Calabasas

A mailbox on Hummingbird Way valued at $600 was shattered to pieces by vandals on Aug. 14.

Westlake Village

Two Hispanic men reportedly used a counterfeit $100 bill to pay for $89 sunglasses at Bea’s Swimwear in the 30800 block of Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

Burglars stole a wallet containing cash, bankcards and a driver’s license from a vehicle parked in a driveway on Grand Oaks Drive on Aug. 14. The estimated loss was $350.

Westlake/T.O. Vandals caused $300 in damages between 8 p.m. Aug. 15 and 8 a.m. Aug. 16 in the 800 block of Vista Ridge Lane.

Hidden Hills

Thieves stole rims and tires from a vehicle parked on Hoback Glen Road. The incident occurred between July 13 and 14.
