Vandals destroy signs in Calabasas

FLAT CURVE—More than half-a-dozen street signs including these at Thousand Oaks Boulevard and Parkmor Road in Calabasas were destroyed by vandals. The city of Calabasas last week found that at least eight traffic signs in the Thousand Oaks Boulevard and Parkmor Road area were vandalized.

“It looks like they were run over,” said Calabasas Associate Transportation Planner Tom Gdala.

Repair and replacement of the signs will cost about $2,000, Galda said.

The city of Calabasas and the Lost Hills Sheriff’s Department are investigating the crime.
