Local teens hungry to help


BILL SPARKES\Acorn Newspapers FILLING THE PANTRY—After Bianca Collins, 16, of Calabasas, center, read a newspaper article stating that the Valley Food Bank was down to a three-week supply, she contacted her friends Kate Mazzeo, 18, of Sherman Oaks, left, and Caitlin Burla, 17, of Thousand Oaks, to see if they could help. The three girls set up a table in front of the Albertsons on Agoura Road in Calabasas and asked people to make food donations.
