Just for the halibut

CATCH OF THE DAY—Jaclyn Kornreich, a 16-year-old junior at Oak Park High School, reeled in a big catch on her sevenday summer fishing trip to Alaska with her father, Dale Kornreich, and brother, Nathan. Jaclyn single-handedly fought the 166-pound halibut for more than 10 minutes before she reeled the fish onto the boat. The Kornreichs caught halibut, silver, red and pink salmon, and dolly varden trout during their July vacation.
