Fighter to be displayed at library

An F-14 Tomcat fighter aircraft will be on permanent display beginning Mon., Aug. 22 at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum in Simi Valley.

The plane will be craned into place beginning at 10 a.m. that day, followed by a 30-minute dedication ceremony at 11 a.m., with a keynote speech by Rear Adm. David Venlet.

The ceremony is free and open to the public, with no reservations required. Complimentary parking shuttles will run on Presidential Drive throughout the day.

Regular admission costs apply for guests who visit the museum.
